    Performance bike clothing

Robust motorcycle clothing can keep you cool, calm and collected as you ride on the road or the race track and also adds an extra layer of protection for your body for extra security. A good outer jacket for touring or commuting purposes will usually be 100% waterproof, feature reinforced panels on the elbow regions, have removable body armour, an adjustable waist for comfort and chest and back protector compartments. Some reflective panels or piping are also a great advantage in terms of safety. Furthermore, a back protector is also a wise investment for riders and offers excellent support and impact protection as you ride. These products are comfortable and breathable and normally very lightweight whilst still offering high protection levels. At the front of your body, a chest protector also keeps your chest and surrounding areas safe and allows you to ride in confidence.

There is also specific motorbike clothing for off-road and freestyle riders with items such as all-in-one protection jackets, bionic free ride shorts, knee guards, neck rolls and heavy duty ballistic body protectors. Of course, leathers are the preferred choice of many riders and as well as leather trousers, good quality leather jackets look very stylish and feature elbow and shoulder protection, pre-curved sleeves for comfortable riding, adjustable waists and pockets for chest pads and back protectors. Most brands also feature a range for ladies including chest pads, sports tops, denims, gloves, boots and leather pads. Make sure that you have the right gear before you take to the road.
